The area will be full of autumn colors, and temperatures will be in the Lower 70s during daylight hours and dropping to the Lower 40s at night.
You can visit Cades Cove, a verdant valley surrounded by mountains, settled by Europeans between 1818 and 1821. With an 11-mile one-way loop offering regular wild animal sightings, it boasts the widest variety of historic buildings in the area.
